One of the finest facilities of its type, Amway Arena serves as home to the Orlando Magic of the NBA and various world class sporting and entertainment events. Amway Arena, originally named The Orlando Arena, opened in January of 1989 and has since become known across the globe as a first class facility. The Center is one of several facilities owned and operated by the City of Orlando all under the name of "The Orlando Centroplex." The other facilities include the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre, The Orlando Expo Centre, Tinker Field and The Florida Citrus Bowl.

In the land of Disney, the Orlando Magic go to great lengths to supply fans at the "Orena"—how the locals refer to the Amway Arena—with as much entertainment and glitz as possible. Between what one reporter described as "muclear rock music" and the contests, giveaways, prizes, and roving magicians, the Orena on game nights can often seem as much a circus tent as a basketball arena.

Parking
There are 3,500 on-site parking spaces at TD Waterhouse. To avoid delays after the game, you can park several blocks away in the downtown area, where there are more than 7,500 spaces within a 3/4-mile radius of the arena.

Directions
From the airport: Get on Semoran (I-436) and continue 4 to 5 miles to the East/West Expressway. Go west on the expressway and connect to I-4; exit I-4 at Amelia Street.
