When it comes to the 2007 version of the Arkansas Razorbacks, you only need to know two words: Darren McFadden. McFadden is, by far, the best running back in the SEC and probably all of college football as well. Can Coach Houston Nutt ride his workhouse to another SEC West title and SEC Championship Game appearance in 2007? With McFadden leading the way from the Wildhog formation, anything seems possible.

Last year, McFadden lined up at both quarterback and running back, giving the Hog attack another dimension. However, it does take more than one player, no matter how talented he is, to win... especially in the SEC. And McFadden is not the only gun in the holster (although he is a rather large weapon).

Junior quarterback Casey Dick leads the Razorback attack (well, he hands the ball off to McFadden) and he has a young but talented group of receivers to get the ball to. Surprisingly, the Arkansas ground attack is not limited to McFadden either. Adding support to the do-everything McFadden is Felix Jones, a stud running back in his own right. In 2006, Jones also rushed for over 1000 yards, giving the Razorbacks only the third SEC backfield duo to both have over 1000 yards. A bit of history.
The Razorbacks have not been shut out in Fayetteville since the 1966 season when Baylor defeated them 7-0. The longest scoring streak for the Razorbacks is 125 games set from 1973-1983.

McFadden rushed his way to the UA record books in his first season with the Razorbacks. He became the first freshman to rush for more than 1,000 yards when he had 1,113 yards in 2005. He also set another freshman record of scoring 11 touchdowns.

Arkansas is the top ranked team in scoring offense in the SEC from 2002-2004. The Razorbacks have been to six bowls in seven years and have appeared on television 59 times since Nutt's eight year tenure.

The University of Arkansas has one of the finest football stadiums in the nation. The seating capacity has been increased from 51,000 to 72,000 in past renovations as well as the new façade covering, and the enclosure of the south end zone which features chair back seating and an addition of 7,300 more seats with space for an upper deck that would push the seating to 80,000. Luxury suites were added as well as an expanded press box as well as many other amenities.

The War Memorial Stadium will continue to host Arkansas football for at least another 13 years. This includes the facility hosting three UA games in three seasons, and three UA games this year and in nine other seasons during that span. The Orville Henry Press Box at War Memorial Stadium was named the best in the nation by the Football Writers Association of America in 1974.
