Kansas Jayhawks
The biggest question on the minds of Jayhawk fans is whether or not Brandon Rush will be able to return to form for the 2007-08 season. Rush tore his ACL during the summer and is currently involved in the rehab process. He is expected to return in December-but will it be the Brandon Rush of last year or will Kansas fans have to temper their expectations?
Either way, there's little denying the depth Coach Bill Self has at his disposal. Led by the guard trio of Russell Robinson, Sherron Collins and Mario Chalmers, the Jayhawks are in a position to make a deep run through the Big 12 conference as well as the Big Dance in March. One of the keys for Kansas is the development of forward Darrell Arthur. Can Arthur become the inside force, paired with Sasha Kaun, Coach Self and Jayhawk fans want him to be? If so, expect some big things from Kansas this season.
With a schedule that includes opponents like Arizona, Southern Cal, Georgia Tech and DePaul, the Jayhawks should be a hot ticket in Lawrence this year.
