Florida State Seminoles
For Coach Leonard Hamilton, the 2007-08 season could very well be an evaluation year. Florida State's athletic department has undergone some changes and in order for this basketball season to be successful, the Seminoles may have to make the NCAA tournament to secure Hamilton's position. The good news is FSU has four returning experienced starters led by the trio of Jason Rich, Toney Douglas, and Uche Echefu. All three are talented performers that should give the Seminoles a strong corps to work with.

While Echefu and Rich man the forward positions, Douglas will be joined in the backcourt by the talented Isaiah Swann, a guard who seems to be ready to accept the coaching Hamilton provides. Heralded freshman Julian Vaughn is expected to step in at the center position and with Casaan Breeden and Ryan Reid as back-ups; it appears as if the Seminole frontline is well stocked. If these players continue to buy into Coach Hamilton's approach, they certainly have the talent to compete with anyone in America.

While the ACC is as tough of a conference as it comes, FSU is in a position to make some noise alongside the big guns. Their schedule is favorable with their only game against Duke being played in Tallahassee. With the right support from Seminole fans, this team should flourish.
